DW’s Flagship Video Management Software Adds Even More Intuitive Interface and Support for Analytics Cameras
DW Spectrum® IPVMS v4.0 –
Built for Users™
West 2019 — Las Vegas, NV (April 10, 2019) – DW®, the industry
leader in digital recorders, surveillance cameras and related management
software, will showcase the DW Spectrum® IPVMS version 4.0 Beta at ISC West
2019 in Las Vegas. The new version of DW’s flagship software includes new
features and capabilities across our Blackjack® servers and MEGApix® CaaS™
cameras. You can find DW®, our entire line of video surveillance solutions and
live DW Spectrum® IPVMS demos at the ISC West show, booth #25089.
IPVMS v4.0 includes significant UI/UX improvements to some of the most integral
parts of the client’s interface. It has been designed to support the advanced
features and onboard analytics such as those in DW® MEGApix® IP cameras. The
4.0 software introduces a P2C integration, which will open our software
solution to any supported TCP/IP device. System scalability has been enhanced
to support more servers, devices and users. Additionally, a new metadata SDK
allows the rapid integration of object metadata (coordinates, tags) generated
by 3rd party computer vision applications. This allows for the integration of
several functions including the ability to overlay bounding boxes and object
paths within video tiles, as well as integrate custom actions and events.
“DW Spectrum® changes the
way the industry and end users look at video management,” said Mark
Espenschied, Director of Marketing, DW®. “As even more powerful features
continue to be added, it remains the most intuitive and easy-to-use software
